
THE FRANCHISE
Wonders of The First is a brand new sci-fi/fantasy franchise with a bold approach to community IP licensing, franchise building, collectibilty, and gaming.
I created and built out a full universe from scratch. Developing a world building framework, I built and led a team of concept designers, AI artists, and digital compositors from to build out 4,200+ pieces of art that includes characters, creatures, items and weapons, spells, lands and more.
THE GAME
Wonders of The First Collectible Card Game is the flagship game built from the Wonders IP. Players are Stoneseekers, battling across 7 realms for control of 7 stones.
Featuring groundbreaking new game mechanics, I worked with the Lead Game Designer, Brian Tinsman (former Lead Game Designer on 8 Magic: The Gathering sets) to build the very first set, Existence.
THE OUTCOMES
As Project lead and Creative Director, I led Wonders of The First to a $1.2 Million Kickstarter campaign for a groundbreaking new Collectible Card Game that will launch in 800+ big box retail stores across the nation in March.
Multiple collectible items already auctioned or sold for tens of thousands of dollars.
Invented multiple industry disrupting product and gameplay features resulting in novel revenue streams.

DESIGNING THE CARD GAME
In Wonders of The First, players are Stoneseekers – powerful beings who control the fate of the Orbitals. They summon fighting units called Wonders. Players play Wonders into 7 realms to battle and gain control of stones. The player who controls the most stones at the end of round 7 wins the game.
